November 10th, a LPCCI Dist. trustee will be in Boron for a presentation and DVD showing. Contact President for more information, and Nov. 24th the Dist. Interclub Activities chairman will be doing a presentation in Boron. Both meetings scheduled to start at 7PM, at the Boron Sr. Ctr., we will be going dark in December. Dec. meeting schedule is: Dec. 8th, potluck/Christmas Party, Dec. 15th-board meeting, Dec. 22nd-no meeting. Our regular meeting schedule will start up again in Jan., Jan steak dinner moved to second Friday, due to the first Friday being a holiday. Student Speaker Contest for our club will be held on the first meeting night in February, check with Secretary or Prez for more information. Community Steak Dinners are held on the first Friday of the month, from 5:30-7PM, at the Boron Seniors Center, 27177 Twenty Mule Team Rd. Boron. Cost is $8.00 for Adults and $5.00 for Children. Desserts are $2.00 extra, and tickets will be given out for the desserts. The general public and all Lions are invited to attend.
