November 10th, a LPCCI Dist. trustee will be in Boron for a presentation and DVD showing. Contact President for more information, and Nov. 24th the Dist. Interclub Activities chairman will be doing a presentation in Boron. Both meetings scheduled to start at 7PM, at the Boron Sr. Ctr., we will be going dark in December. Dec. meeting schedule is: Dec. 8th, potluck/Christmas Party, Dec. 15th-board meeting, Dec. 22nd-no meeting. Our regular meeting schedule will start up again in Jan., Jan steak dinner moved to second Friday, due to the first Friday being a holiday, Zone B Meeting to be held on Jan. 15th, in Ridgecrest and the last Zone B meeting of the year will be held on February 27th in Tehachapi. Student Speaker Contest for our club will be held on the first meeting night in February, check with Secretary or President for more information. All information concerning the District activities can be found on the District website, which is: www.district4L1.org. Check it out sometime. Community Steak Dinners are held on the first Friday of the month, from 5:30-7PM, at the Boron Seniors Center, 27177 Twenty Mule Team Rd. Boron. Cost is $8.00 for Adults and $5.00 for Children. Desserts are $2.00 extra, and tickets will be given out for the desserts. The general public and all Lions are invited to attend.
